Cathay United Bank is integrating IEI's iSignager LCD All-in-one digital signage display into the display box installed on the top of ATM machines to promote its service and products.
The on-top display box is usually installed with a direct dial emergency telephone and a 15" square area for displaying a poster. Since the digital signage becomes the new solution that combines the traditional marketing tool (static poster) and virtual platform (up-to-date information), the Cathay United Bank choose digital signage to replace the static poster with the 24/7 non-stop display.
IEI's digital signage player is equipped with LAN connection. Users can remotely update the contents to all players in different locations around Taiwan and save the labor cost for traditional poster replacement. The RISC architecture on the iSignager LCD ensures high performance operation with low power consumption (8.0 W only) ensuring that the system will not overheat after running for an extended period of time. The industrial-grade design of iSignager LCD makes it the ideal platform.
Currently all IEI digital signage solutions are built on RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) motherboards. RISC motherboards were integrated into the IEI digital signage solutions after the very positive responses IEI received about the IEI RISC based motherboard solutions.
The digital signage team will also actively develop touch panel products that are for use primarily in technology research and development, industrial technology panels. All touch-panels from the digital signage team will have multi-point-control modes.
The formation of the Digital Signage Department is an exciting new development at IEI Technology Corp. We look forward to their range of products and digital multimedia solutions. |
